Wheelchair Access

The main entrance to the Al Harris Library can be reached by ramps. The doors on the right side of the entrance have an electric opener. The second floor and basement can be reached using the elevator adjacent to the stairwell on the south side of the building.

There are two wheelchair-accessible family restrooms on the south end of the first floor.

The library has one adjustable-height workstation in the PC area.

Personal Computers and Online Resources

All of the networked PCs on the first floor of the library support Windows Accessibility Tools, which include a screen magnifier, a screen reader, and an on-screen keyboard utility.

The library provides wireless Internet access throughout the building.

The library's catalog and discovery search is accessible online at swosu.on.worldcat.org.

Most of the library's online resources work with screen magnification and screen reading tools. These resources are available off-campus to current SWOSU students and employees. See Remote Access and Library Logins for details.
