The Orange Book identifies drug products approved on the basis of safety and effectiveness by the FDA. (Note that drugs approved only on the basis of safety are not included.) The Merck Manual describes symptoms, common clinical procedures, laboratory tests, and virtually all the disorders that a general internist might encounter. The United States Pharmacopeia National Formulary (USP-NF) is an online reference of public pharmacopeial standards. It contains standards for medicines, dosage forms, drug substances, excipients, medical devices, and dietary supplements. You'll need to disable your browser's pop-up blocker when using the USP-NF.

WebCSD offers fast searching of the Cambridge Structural Database. Search facilities include 2D substructure, molecular similarity, text/numeric and reduced cell searching. Text, chemical diagrams, and 3D structural information can all be studied in the results browser using entry summaries and an embedded three-dimensional viewer.
