Citing Sources

The library currently has no air conditioning. Please read this before you visit ยป

At your request, the Al Harris Library's Archives and Special Collections Department will create a digital reproduction of your tenure and promotion documents in Portable Document Format (PDF).

The library's digitization technician will scan your original documents utilizing the same high-resolution scanner that the library uses for the digital preservation of archival documents. By storing your documents in an archival PDF format, the library ensures that your documents will be accessible to you far into the future.

The digital copy of your T&P documents will be solely for your use. A digital copy of your documents will not be provided to your department or academic unit without your permission. However, at your request, the Al Harris Library will securely store a backup copy of the PDF file we provide to you.

We anticipate a turn-around time of approximately three weeks from when you provide your documents to the library to the completion of your digital copy. If you're interested in having a digital copy of your tenure and promotion documents, please contact either Mr. Phillip Fitzsimmons (580-774-3030 or or Mr. Frederic Murray (580-774-7113 or They're also available for consultation if your documents have special requirements for scanning.
