Study Rooms (2nd floor)

The Al Harris Library has three large study rooms on the 2nd floor. AHL 219 and AHL 220 are on the north side of the building. AHL 211 is in the southwest corner. Group use of these rooms takes priority over individual use. These rooms feature wall-size dry erase boards, large monitors for presentations, and seating for small groups.

You can reserve AHL 211 or AHL 220 with the online room reservation form. You can also call the Al Harris Library Circulation Desk at (580)774-3730. Please read the library's study room policy before making your reservation.

AHL 211 and AHL 220 may be reserved on an as-needed basis for scheduled courses and SWOSU-affiliated groups. If your group is not affiliated with SWOSU your request must be approved by the Library Director.

Library Auditorium (AHL B1)

The library auditorium (AHL B1) is in the basement. To get to AHL B1 take the south stairwell or the elevator. AHL B1 has a capacity of 100 persons and can be reserved by faculty and members of the public. Reservations can be made by calling the Associate Provost's Office at (580)774-7172.

SWOSU-affiliated groups are allowed to use the auditorium on an as-needed basis after 5:00pm if the room is not already reserved.

Stafford Archive (AHL 216)

The Stafford Archive is not yet open. Please check back for policies on the use of the Archive.

Library Instruction Room (AHL 221)

Use of the Instruction Room is limited to SWOSU classes and public groups for computer-assisted instruction. It is not available as a meeting room.

Faculty can schedule the room in advance by filling out the online Instruction Request Form or calling (580)774-7113. The Instruction Room calendar is available online.

The key to the Instruction Room can be checked out from the Circulation Desk. For more information, read the Library Instruction Room Guidelines.
